Refund policy
At Rekkies Limited, we take pride in offering quality products and service. We want every customer to have confidence in their purchase. This policy explains how we handle returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA) of New Zealand.
Change of Mind
Please choose carefully. We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect choice, or where you simply decide you no longer want the item.
At our discretion, we may offer an exchange or store credit if:

The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging;

Returned within 7 days of purchase; and

Accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
A restocking fee of up to 10% may apply to cover processing and handling.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, defective, damaged, or not as described, you are protected under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993.
Depending on the situation, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund.
Please contact us as soon as possible so we can assist you quickly.
To make a claim:

Email us at accounts@rekkies.co.nz with your order number, description of the issue, and supporting photos (if applicable).

We may require the item to be returned for inspection.

Once assessed, we’ll let you know the outcome within 5 working days.
If the product is deemed faulty, all reasonable return shipping costs will be reimbursed.
Items Not Eligible for Return
We cannot accept returns for:

Products damaged through misuse, neglect, or accidental damage;

Items that have been altered, repaired, or modified without our approval;

Sale or clearance items marked as non-returnable (unless faulty);
-
Consumable or perishable products (such as incense, oils, or candles), unless proven faulty.
Your Rights Under New Zealand Law
Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
If your product fails to meet the guarantees under these Acts, you are entitled to a remedy appropriate to the situation.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout.
Please allow 5–10 business days for your refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
